Billyard Insurance Group is looking for a Branch Manager to lead the growth, retention, and development of BIG’s Corporate Store located in Welland. This role comes with a team of sales & service brokers in both personal lines & commercial lines. As the flagship location, this branch will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategies and workflows for all BIG branch offices. 
 
The Branch Manager will report directly to the COO. 
 
What does the Branch Manager do? 
  • Develop and implement retention, quality and scalable growth plans within the branch to achieve company goals and objectives, ensuring the success of our flagship branch. 
  • Maintain expected service quality standards and enhance customer experience through program implementation and issue resolution. 
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by providing guidance and support to our team of brokers. 
  • Offer expertise in commercial, personal, and life insurance to adeptly lead all divisions within the branch. 
  • Effectively handle client escalations and ensure appropriate resolution. 
  • Support sales team to ensure they successfully meet their targets and align with company goals. 
 
Does this sound like you? 
  • Demonstrated expertise in commercial and personal lines insurance sales. 
  • Proven leadership skills with a successful track record of managing large, highly engaged teams, including experience in fast-paced and quickly scaling environments. 
  • Ability to lead in a hybrid work environment and understand the needs of both internal and external customers. 
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills to report on program performance, strategic plans, and influence key stakeholders. 
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to enhance the effectiveness of team members. 
  • Strong collaborative mindset, fostering teamwork and collaboration across various stakeholders. 
  • Experience in managing projects or initiatives beyond daily responsibilities, involving multiple stakeholders. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to develop optimal solutions that maximize organizational performance. 
 
Qualifications & Education: 
  • 7-10 years of insurance industry experience with a background in both commercial and personal lines 
  • RIBO license in good standing 
  • LLQP license an asset 
  • Post-Secondary Degree or diploma 
  • CIP or CAIB designation preferred
