Billyard Insurance Group is looking for a Senior Account Manager at our Welland Branch. If you’re an experienced account manager who excels at supporting others, this may be the role for you.

What does the Senior Account Manager Do?
  • Supervise and mentor the account manager team, providing training to new members and advising on time management and productivity enhancement.
  • Coordinate team schedules and workload management to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Manage the phone queue, ensuring prompt response to customer inquiries.
  • Assist account manager team members in problem-solving, identifying issues and generating effective solutions.
  • Exemplify exceptional customer service standards, managing escalations and continuously seeking ways to enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to RIBO & IBAO guidelines within the team.
  • Foster a friendly, positive, and supportive team environment conducive to trust and collaboration.
  • Provide support to Billing (Client Care) and TSR employees as needed.
  • Approve new business insurance policies or refer them accordingly.
  • Uphold customer satisfaction through analysis of survey data, proactive follow-up, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager in the development of reports, workflows, and updates to policies and procedures during weekly team meetings, while also evaluating team performance.

  • Skilled insurance broker specializing in Personal Lines with a proven track record of excellent customer service.
  • Proficient in utilizing various technology platforms such as PowerBroker, Applied, BIG Leads, Microsoft, and Market Portals.
  • Thrives on collaborative efforts, effectively working with others towards shared goals.
  • Adaptable to changing environments, situations, and tasks, adjusting actions accordingly.
  • Proficient at identifying and resolving complex problems by evaluating options and implementing solutions.
  • Dedicated to mentoring team members, facilitating their learning and professional growth.
  • Demonstrates excellence in Customer Service, adept at managing challenging clients and conversations.
  • Willingness to jump in and provide support to the team whenever needed.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years as a Personal Lines Account Manager in the broker channel
  • 3+ years' experience leading others an asset
  • RIBO license in good standing
  • Completion of secondary education diploma or equivalent
