As a TSR you are responsible for providing support to our Personal and commercial lines teams with billing inquires, reviewing renewals as well as new business for accuracy. The TSR will also support Client Care and Receptionist. 

What does the Technical Service Representative do?

  • Customer Support – Provide assistance to policy holders and clients regarding their billing inquires, making payments for clients
  • Assist reception and client care with incoming calls during peak times
  • Assist Account Managers with portal policy endorsements and accuracy
  • Review New business documents for accuracy
  • Provide back up to the receptionist and Client Care during lunch hours, vacation/sick days
  • Prepare mail/ Courier
  • Order supplies
  • Answer incoming calls for reception & client care

  • Communication- Communicate effectively with clients via phone and email ensuring clear and professional interactions
  • Collaboration – Work closely with other departments to ensure clients billing needs are met promptly
  • Problem solving capabilities
  • Good understanding of insurance processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills 
  • Microsoft outlook/Microsoft Teams knowledge
  • Supportive, Self-motivated
  • Attention to detail 

Qualifications:

  • RIBO Licensed considered an asset for the role
  • Previous insurance brokerage experience
  • Basic knowledge of insurance polices and coverage an asset
  • Power Broker knowledge
